Telco Expense Management, also called (TEM or TEMS), works in conjunction with Service Inventory. When setting up a group (template) for Service Inventory, the user can easily extend this to include information about various “expected” Telcom bills. You can keep it simple or configure for full scale enterprise wide tracking.
With the Telecom Expense Management Module, bills can be mapped for accuracy, month after month.
Any Business that uses WorkWeb can purchase this module. A company with both the Service Inventory module and the TEM module, can inventory any monthly contract, including but not limited to Telecom monthly bills. By creating a Contract and expected Monthly Bill totals and bill tolerance thresholds, a company can use the TEM module to enter in the actual amounts of bills every month. Any discrepancy outside of the specified tolerance threshold, is flagged and the company is put on alert to research, isolate and correct the problem. Billing Tickets can be generated and tracked to resolution – which allows the company to address bills as “OK to Pay” after full research is conducted and changes accounted for. Billing Histories and Accountability Tracking build over time to produce a layer of billing accountability that is invaluable to Accounts Payable Departments.
For The Channel Members – who Broker and Manage Telecom Service Contracts for customers – adding this tool to your CMR account allows you to conduct billing accountability for your customer base on a monthly basis.
